Hours early and minutes late, the tick tick tick of eager paranoia
I have to see the plane is there with nervous hours spare though I know better
Spiraled thoughts of no taxi cabs and long security lines still haunt this frequent flyer
But it is always so much faster, check points ticked in record time
Here at three past two as planned, into the air at six fifteen
And I am the fool for my worry sitting at gate thirty five, but I’m not alone
The speaker crackles of unforeseen delays, flight’s now eight forty five
Then sings the choir of groans and shuffling bags, a tired traveller grumbles “where’s that damn airport bar”
Prompt: Time (Non-linear)
